Lea Gance is a licensed and board certified acupuncturist and clinical herbalist. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Pre-Medical studies from New York University.

She specializes in treating women’s health and reproductive issues such as infertility, pregnancy-related symptoms, breech presentation, irregular and/or painful periods, PCOS and PMS. Additionally, Lea is experienced in treating the unique hormonal, emotional, and post-surgical issues associated with transgender specialty care.

She has clinical experience interning in the Emergency Department, Operating Room, Oncology, and Birthing Units at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY and is currently assisting research to show the effectiveness of acupuncture during labor and delivery at reducing Cesarean section rate at NYU’s Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn.

Lea takes a comprehensive approach to care by combining her knowledge of psychology and physiology to treat both the mind and body. She plans to further advance her practice of integrative care by attending medical school in 2017 and continuing her practice as a comprehensive physician and Chinese Medical practitioner.
