SHARON YEUNG M.S., L.Ac.
Sharon Yeung M.S., L.Ac, is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Board Certified Chinese herbalist and trained Doula. She holds a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Touro College, NY and a Bachelors of Arts from Wesleyan University, CT. She has clinically trained with leading experts in pediatrics, gynecology and classical herbal medicine at hospitals in Shanghai, Nanjing and Xiangtan, China and at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Sharon is certified with the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association for her work with acupuncture and addiction and its application for children with ADD/ADHD. In addition to her graduate work in Chinese medicine and biomedical sciences, her training in Zhenggu Tuina and with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen's Embodied Anatomy method have enhanced her ability to recognize the body's innate signs of harmony and imbalance. Sharon teaches martial arts to children and is a longtime practitioner of Iyengar and Anusara yoga, Hungga kungfu, and Vipassana Meditation.
