LIZ CARLSON, MAOM, L.Ac., Dipl.C.H.
Liz is a New York Licensed Acupuncturist and a Board Certified Chinese Herbalist, graduating from the New England School of Acupuncture, the oldest college of Oriental Medicine in the United States with a Master's of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is currently attending the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to incorporate nutrition into her practice, and is also attending the Herbal Mentorship Program at White Pine Healing Arts in Amherst, MA to expand her knowledge of her favorite aspect of Oriental Medicine, Chinese Herbal Medicine. She has a true passion for Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine and enjoys collaborating with her patients to reach that goal of health and well-being together. Her most treasured moments in her career thus far have been her involvement in the PanAfrican Acupuncture Project, training Ugandan health care workers to use simple acupuncture protocols for more accessible and more affordable healthcare.
